Kerala Floods: Pregnant woman rescued in flood-hit Palakkad district, watch video

While Kerala is dealing with the floods, a video is making rounds on the Internet, in which a pregnant woman is been rescued in flood-hit Palakkad district's Agali. The woman was tied with the rope and was pulled while she was dangling on the rope. The video has been shared by the news agency ANI, which is garnering a lot of affection from the people sitting on the Internet. A twitter user Uday Gaejra responded to the video and said, Salute our Disaster Management team. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1160161203769020416?s=20 In a video, water is flowing above the level and the woman is crossing the river dangling on the rope. Meanwhile, a red alert has been issued in the eight districts of Kerala. The National Disaster Responding Force (NDRF) has been deployed in the districts for the rescue operations. Likewise, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said, that as many as 80 landslides were reported in the state. Also, he said, that these floods are not as serious as that of 2018. I’m monitoring the situation closely & have spoken to the Kerala CM and key Govt officials to expedite relief. I will be reaching out to PM Modi as well to brief him & request Central Govt. assistance." Meanwhile, the death toll has risen to 28 in Kerala amid the heavy rainfall which has led the state towards the natural calamity.
