The Chandigarh-Manali National Highway, Himachal, was blocked for traffic between Mandi and Kullu at 7 Mile near Pandoh in Mandi district following a massive landslide on August 26. A large number of vehicles were stuck on both sides of the road. The National Highway Authority of India pressed its men and machinery to clear the highway for traffic.

For the past few days, Mandi district has been witnessing heavy rain, which is resulting in landslides on the Chandigarh-Manali highway.
