4.5 magnitude earthquake hits Uttarakhand's Tehri
Uttarkashi (Uttarakhand), November 6: A magnitude 4.5 earthquake was recorded in Uttarkhand's Tehri on Sunday, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
NCS tweeted, "Earthquake of Magnitude:4.5, Occurred on 06-11-2022, 08:33:03 IST, Lat: 30.67 & Long: 78.60, Depth: 5 Km, Location: 17km ESE of Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand."
Earlier on November 2, earthquakes with an intensity of 10 km depth and 23.28 latitudes and 80.35 longitude were felt in Madhya Pradesh's Pachmarhi. It measured 3.9 on the Richter Scale.

On the same day (November 2), tectonic plate movement was felt near Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, with a magnitude of 3.7 on the Richter scale.
The NCS also reported on October 20 that a magnitude 3.5 earthquake was felt in Surat, Gujarat, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in his hometown for the launch of Mission LiFE in Kevadia.
