Delhi blast: Red EcoSport, suspected to be linked to Red Fort explosion prime suspect Dr Umar, found
PTC Web Desk: In a significant breakthrough in the Red Fort blast investigation, the Haryana Police have recovered a red Ford EcoSport linked to prime suspect Dr Umar Nabi from a farmhouse at Khandawali village.
Earlier in the day, the authorities had issued a red alert across multiple states after confirming that the vehicle was registered in Dr Umar Nabi’s name. Following an intensive search operation, the police traced the SUV to a farmhouse owned by one of Nabi’s friends, who has now been detained for questioning, according to sources.

Forensic and ballistic teams are currently examining the vehicle for possible evidence related to the explosion.
Investigators have also revealed that the Hyundai i20 used by Dr Umar during the Red Fort blast was registered under the name of a plumber from Pulwama. The plumber has been taken into custody for interrogation. The police suspect that around 60 kg of ammonium nitrate was used in the car that detonated near the Red Fort, causing the explosion.
