PM Modi's spiritual visit: Tamil Nadu visit before Ayodhya ceremony

PTC News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a spiritual journey, visiting the Arichal Munai, the historic point where the Ram Setu was constructed, near Dhanushkodi in Tamil Nadu. This significant visit took place on Sunday morning, a day before the scheduled pran-pratishtha ceremony for the Ram Lalla idol in Ayodhya.

During his visit, PM Modi actively engaged in the practice of 'anulom vilom' at the Arichal Munai Point, immersing himself in the spiritual ambiance of the sacred location. Additionally, he is scheduled to perform a puja at the Sri Kothandarama Swamy temple situated in Dhanushkodi.

The Sri Kothandarama Swamy temple holds historical and religious significance, with the name "Kothandarama" translating to "Rama with the bow." Located in Dhanushkodi, this sacred site is believed to be where Lord Rama's brother, Vibhishana, first sought refuge and met Lord Rama. According to legends, this is also the place where Lord Rama conducted the coronation of Vibhishana, adding to the rich tapestry of religious history associated with the temple. PM Modi's visit to these revered locations underscores the cultural and spiritual heritage embedded in these historic sites.
