Northeast Delhi violence: In a major incident, petrol bombs and crate of stones have been found on AAP leader Tahir Hussain's rooftop. Meanwhile, the AAP leader is also alleged for having a role in the death of IB officer Ankit Sharma. The IB officer was found dead and dumped in the Chand Bagh area.

Petrol bombs recovered from Tahir Hussain’s rooftop

Petrol bombs and many crates of stones were allegedly found on the rooftop of the AAP leader. Meanwhile, IB officer Ankit Sharma's father Devendra has called Tahir an anti-national person. BJP leader Amit Malviya said in a tweet: "Locals continue to send video evidence of AAP corporator Mohammed Tahir Hussain’s role in unleashing violence against Hindus. 'I am a peaceful Indian Muslim'

Meanwhile, Tahir Hussain, AAP councilor stated that "I worked to stop violence, I am innocent. I stopped people from climbing up my building. On February 24, the police conducted a search of my building and moved us out from there and later, we shifted to a safe location. Till 4 pm on Feb 25, police were present at the building." The Delhi Police was present at the building, only they can tell what exactly happened. I will fully cooperate with the police." "I am very sad to hear about the death of IB officer Ankit Sharma. He should get justice. I am not involved in this incident. There should be a thorough investigation of this matter," he concluded.

Delhi CM on accusations on Tahir Hussain

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that "Any person who found guilty should be given stringent punishment. If any Aam Aadmi Party person was found guilty then that person should be given double the punishment. There should be no politics on the issue of national security." -PTC News  -
