People's Democratic Party Legislator explicated Kashmiri militants as Martyrs
PDP Legislator explicated Kashmiri militants as Martyrs : Aijaz Ahmad Mir, legislator, People's Democratic Party (PDP) explicated Kashmiri militants killed by Indian security forces as martyrs and said that their deaths should not be celebrated.
Mir told Media that Militants who were from Kashmir and got killed were martyrs, they were our brothers, and some of them were minors who did not even know what they were doing.
He said that we should not celebrate the killings of militants as it was our collective failure. He said that we feel sad when our security forces were martyred as well, we should sympathize with parents of jawans and with parents of militants as well.
Mir, who represents Wachi constituency, said Centre's Interlocutor for Kashmir Dineshwar Sharma should talk to everyone in the state including, Hurriyat and militants.He said the Kashmir issue is a political issue and should be resolved politically.
On Wednesday, Mir had described militants from Kashmir as his brothers and called for talks with the Hurriyat, militants and other stakeholders to resolve the Kashmir issue permanently. -PTC News
