PSPCL suspended Hardev Singh ALM for theft of electricity at his home
Patiala May 27, 2022 A spokesman of PSPCL disclosed that on the basis of a complaint, Punjab state power corporation limited has suspended Hardev Singh assistant lineman posted at Abohar for theft of electricity by direct kundi at his house today.

A spokesman said PSPCL took a serious note of the complaint. The enquiry of the complaint was conducted by enforcement organization revealed that the MCB/MTC seals were broken and a 2 core cable was being used to bypass the meter and to give direct supply which clearly established theft of electricity.
Spokesman said that during the suspension, the head quarter of the hardev singh has been fixed in the office of SE distribution circle PSPCL Faridkot. ALM Hardev Singh has been charge sheeted and if these charges are proved in the departmental enquiry his services can be terminated.
Power Minister Sh Harbhajan Singh said that no corruption at any level shall be tolerated and strict action will be taken against the erring officials .He also said that in case of any difficulty consumers can send details on mobile no. 96461-75770 by SMS or WhatsApp.
