Punjab: While the state is on the protest over the demolition of Ravidas Temple in Tuglakabad, in Delhi, Ludhiana is lashed out by the heavy rainfall on Tuesday. The rainfall took place on the Tuesday morning, while, the native areas of Ludhiana are just covered with the clouds. The pictures have been revealed by the news agency Asian News International (ANI), on Tuesday, where the waterlogging on the streets have started taking place. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1161138324473597952 Punjab Bandh over Ravidas Temple Demolition Punjab has called for the Bandh following the demolition of Sri Guru Ravidas temple in Tuglakabad, in Delhi. The Ravidas Community is outraged and hence, started protesting for it. Likewise, the schools and colleges in Punjab are closed for Tuesday in Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Gurdaspur, etc. Meanwhile, Patiala, Amritsar hasn't declared any of the official holidays on Tuesday. I’m monitoring the situation closely & have spoken to the Kerala CM and key Govt officials to expedite relief. I will be reaching out to PM Modi as well to brief him & request Central Govt. assistance.” The death toll has risen to 28 in Kerala due to the heavy rainfall. Therefore, the Kerala CM has issued a red alert in Ernakulam, Palakkad, Idukki, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, and Kannur. -PTC News
