Punjab’s ten-day Budget Session starts today
The Budget Session of the Punjab Assembly, will begin today with Punjab Governor’s address while the Budget estimates for the year 2019-20 would be presented before the House on February 18 by Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal.

The budget is likely to be a stormy affair as opposition parties, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) will corner the Congress government over issues such as pending DA , arrears of employees, regularization of teachers, lack of development and farmers’ suicides”.
