R-Day Parade 2022: Tableau of this ministry won in Central ministries/departments category
Republic Day 2022: Days after the grand parade on this year's Republic Day, tableaux of the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Civil Aviation have been declared as joint winners in the category of Central ministries/departments on Friday.
The Civil Aviation Ministry took part in the parade for the first time.
The Ministry of Education and Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship's tableau was themed 'National Education Policy,' while the Ministry of Civil Aviation's tableau was themed 'Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik.'
The parade featured nine tableaux representing various central ministries and departments.
The magnificent tableau created by the Civil Aviation Ministry depicts the Buddhist circuit of the successful UDAN scheme as well as the significance of women in the aviation sector.

The dignitaries in the parade were very delighted with the tableau.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation's tableau took part in the 73rd Republic Day Parade for the first time, showcasing the Regional Connectivity Scheme UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik) and the high returns it has been yielding. Over 80 lakh people benefit from the 403 UDAN routes that connect 65 underserved/unserved airports, including helicopters and water aerodromes.
The scheme, which was conceptualised by the Ministry and is being implemented by the Airport Authority of India (AAI), seeks to improve regional connectivity in an economically viable and affordable manner.
Results for best tableaux and best marching contingents of Republic Day parade 2022have been declared by three panels of judges which were appointed for assessing the performance of marching contingents from the three Services, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF)/other auxiliary forces and tableaux from various states/UTs and Central ministries/departments.
The Indian Navy marching contingent was declared to be the best marching contingent among the three Services based on the panels' assessments.
Among the CAPF/other auxiliary forces, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has been named the best marching contingent.
Among the 12 States/UTs that took part in the Republic Day parade on January 26, 2022, Uttar Pradesh's tableau was voted as the best. Uttar Pradesh's tableau was themed 'One District, One Product, and Kashi Vishwanath Dham.'
