Russian soldier's last text to mother before his death goes viral

Amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict, screenshot of a Russian soldier's texts to his mother before his death in Ukraine went viral all over social media. The heartbreaking and sad screenshots were shared by Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United Nations. Text messages describe how the soldier is afraid due to the prevailing crisis and how they are hitting everyone, even civilians, beating and harassing Indians. General Assembly Emergency Meeting on Monday. “I would like to read from the screenshot of the smartphone of a killed Russian soldier,” Mr Kyslytsya told the meeting on the day. “How are you doing? Why has it been so long since you responded?” the mother of the dead soldier messaged his son. “Are you really in training exercises?” “Mama, I’m no longer in Crimea. He then questioned what kind of parcel his mother could send him, to which she replied: “What are you talking about, what happened?” “Mama, I am in Ukraine. There is a real war raging here,” the soldier wrote. “I’m afraid. We are bombing all of the cities together, even targeting civilians." “We were told that they would welcome us and they are falling under our armoured vehicles, throwing themselves under the wheels and not allowing us to pass." “They call us fascists. Mama this is so hard.” The conversation between a Russian soldier and his mother was really emotional and heart-rending. The photos of screenshots were also released by the Security Service of Ukraine on Telegram and published in the Ukrainian media outlet Ukrinform.
