Apple's iPhone 16: Apple's upcoming iPhone 16 is rumored to feature an upgrade to Wi-Fi 7, aiming to enhance the ecosystem experience and facilitate the integration of Apple's hardware products on the same local network.
Currently, the iPhone 14 is equipped with Wi-Fi 6 technology. However, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has tweeted that Apple plans to aggressively upgrade the hardware specifications of the iPhone 16 to create a more competitive ecosystem for their Vision Pro line.
Kuo emphasises the significance of the ecosystem in the success of Vision Pro, highlighting the integration with other Apple hardware products. Key hardware specifications for this integration include Wi-Fi and ultra-wideband (UWB).

In addition to Wi-Fi 7, Kuo suggests that the iPhone 15 will likely receive an upgrade in UWB specifications, with a shift in the production process from 16nm to more advanced 7nm. This transition would enable improved performance and reduced power consumption for nearby interactions.
The primary purpose of upgrading to Wi-Fi 7 in the iPhone 16 is to enhance the overall ecosystem experience and simplify the integration of Apple's hardware products connected to the same local network.
In related news, recent reports have indicated that the iPhone 16 Pro will feature a 6.27-inch display, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max model will sport a larger 6.86-inch display. Earlier rumors suggested that the iPhone 16 Pro Max would be the only model to include a periscope camera.
