Tight security arrangements have been made for the road show of the T20 World Cup-winning Indian cricket team in Mumbai on Thursday evening.
After coming from New Delhi, the victorious team will participate in an open bus road show followed by a felicitation event at the Wankhede Stadium in South Mumbai.
The victory parade will take place between 5 and 7 p.m., from Nariman Point to the Wankhede Stadium, according to officials.

Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and other players have returned home following India's championship-winning campaign at the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in the Caribbean. In the exciting final at Kensington Oval in Barbados, Rohit's Team India defeated South Africa by seven runs, ending the long wait for an ICC title.
On Wednesday, the Indian team took a charter flight from Grantley Adams International Airport to Delhi. The Indian team was left stranded in Barbados for three days by a category four hurricane. The winning team, Air India Champions 24 World Cup (AIC24WC), is the name of the special charter flight operated by Air India. It departed the Caribbean island at 4:50 a.m. local time and arrived in the nation's capital at around 6:20 a.m. (IST) today.
