Youth Congress launches anti-BJP protest in Punjab’s Ludhiana
Ludhiana, May 14: The Youth Congress of Ludhiana opposed the BJP National President JP Nadda's visit to Punjab. Youth Congress workers gathered at Samrala Chowk on May 14 to protest against JP Nadda.
The Punjab police stopped protestors by putting barricades which rose to a clash between the police and the Congress workers.

A meeting was scheduled to be held with the youth workers but before the meeting Youth Congress President Brindar Dhillon along with other workers staged a protest against JP Nadda and chanted slogans against the Modi government. The Youth Congress workers interfered with the police on the occasion and police also detained several youth leaders.
Meanwhile, The Youth Congress staged a protest against the rise in inflation. While addressing the media, Punjab Youth Congress Brindar Dhillon said that the BJP had come to the Center to protest against the government. At the same time, he said that protests were to be staged against the rising inflation but they were stopped.
After the protest, BJP national president JP Nadda addressed workers at Glada Ground in Ludhiana and stated that for the first time in Punjab, the BJP had contested the assembly elections in 73 seats in which the party received overwhelming support.

JP Nadda also stated that in the forthcoming assembly elections the lotus flower would bloom in Punjab at all costs. People in the country were rejecting Congress. He said that in all the states except Punjab the bail of Aam Aadmi Party candidates has been forfeited.
