Bharat Bandh: Farmers block Chandigarh-Ambala road, Mohali airport road

Farmers' Bharat Bandh protest: Protesting farmers on Monday blocked Chandigarh-Ambala road, and Mohali airport road at five places, including Sohana Singh Shaheedan Gurdwara, Sectors 78-79 Chowk and Chhat village light point. Also, farmers blocked the Kharar-Banur road near Saneta village. Also, farmers have blocked the Zirakpur-Shimla highway at the Chandimandir toll plaza. Image Not just Punjab and Haryana, several other states also supported farmers' call for Bharat Bandh on Monday. In Andhra Pradesh, the left parties staged a protest in front of Vijayawada bus station to observe Bharat Bandh against 3 farm laws. Image In Kerala, roads were seen wearing a deserted look as shops were closed in Thiruvananthapuram. The Trade unions affiliated to LDF and UDF had supported the call for nationwide protest against the three farm laws. In Karnataka, several organizations protested outside Kalaburagi Central bus station as farmer organisatons call for Bandh on Monday against 3 farm laws. -PTC News
