Coronavirus: India's Daily Positivity Rate remains below 5 percent for 24 consecutive days
Coronavirus India Updates: As more people were getting recovered from COVID-19, India’s Daily Recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases for 49 consecutive days now. As per the coronavirus updates, given by the Health Ministry, India reported 48,786 new COVID-19 cases, 61,588 recoveries, and 1,005 deaths in the last 24 hours. The Active cases in the country stand at 5,23,257 and the death toll has reached 3,99,459. A total of 33,57,16,019 people have been vaccinated in India so far. A net decline of 13,807 was witnessed in the last 24 hours while the active cases were now only 1.72 percent of the country's total Positive Cases. Out of the people infected since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,94,88,918 people have already recovered from COVID-19 and 61,588patients have recovered in the last 24 hours.
