Janmashtami 2019: There are excitement and joy across the nation to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna which is also called Krishna Janmashtami. Though Janmashtami 2019 was dated on August 24, on some places it is being celebrated on August 23. Also, the Chandigarh Administration along with the Punjab and Haryana Government has declared August 23 as the public holiday instead of August 24, 2019.

Likewise, to celebrate the Janmashtami, this year people are gathered to decorate the temples, or there home, in case they have the little Laddu Gopal in their home. There are several pictures unveiled by the news agency ANI, on the occasion of Janmashtami. These pictures include the temple in Mathura being illuminated on Janmashtami which is just astonishing and worth adorable and why not? Mathura is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Krishna.

Also, there is a temple in Mathura named Kesava Deo Temple which is said to built in ancient times, on the exact site of the Lord Krishna’s birthplace (an underground prison, where his father and mother Devki were trapped).

Therefore, the decoration of Mathura is so astonishing. Also, there is the ISKCON temple in Bengaluru, where there is a huge number of gathering to celebrate Janmashtami 2019.
