Delhi rain triggers waterlogging in multiple areas amidst heavy downpour
Delhi Rain: Delhi and the National Capital Region woke up to heavy rain accompanied by gusty winds, resulting in widespread waterlogging in various parts of the city this morning.
The weather forecast for Delhi indicates that residents can anticipate mostly cloudy skies with light to moderate rain for the next five days.
Earlier today, light rain was reported in South West Delhi areas, including Vasant Vihar, Munirka, and RK Puram. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), spells of light rain and gusty winds are expected to gradually subside after 9:30 am today.
On the preceding Thursday, Delhi experienced unusually high maximum temperatures, reaching 37.6 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees above the average for this time of the year. The minimum temperature for that day was recorded at 27.8 degrees Celsius.
