Ludhiana: VB raids ex-Congress MLA Kuldeep Vaid's premises; foreign liquor, cash recovered
Ludhiana, March 13: Punjab’s Vigilance Bureau on Monday conducted raids at the premises of former MLA Kuldeep Singh Vaid in connection with a disproportionate assets inquiry. Vigilance officials have been raiding Vaid's home along with other properties including his son’s café in Ludhiana.
According to Ludhiana vigilance SSP Ravinderpal Singh Sandhu, a disproportionate assets investigation has been launched against Vaid based on a secret information received by the bureau.

"A technical team from the vigilance headquarters arrived in Ludhiana today to assess his properties, which included his residence and a café in Sarabha Nagar. We have a list of his nine properties that will be investigated. We will call him for questioning after we assess his properties," he said.
The SSP further informed that the Vigilance has seized a licensed revolver during the raid. Huge amount of cash, foreign liquor and several property documents have also been recovered.
