Days after removing display picture from social media, RCB unveils new logo
RCB New Logo: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Friday unveiled a new logo ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 edition of the tournament which will commence on March 29. While sharing a new logo, RCB said in a tweet: "THIS IS IT. The moment you've been waiting for. New Decade, New RCB, New Logo!"
Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad quickly responded with a cheeky comment. "Ee sala logo chaala bagundi! ? The #OrangeArmy is ready to #PlayBold yet again this season, SRH commented with a picture of Australian David Warner and England's David Warner.
While speaking about the launch of the new logo, Chairman of RCB, Sanjeev Churiwala said that the idea behind the new brand identity is to give our lion a contemporary makeover. He added that the elements in the logo is a commitment to entertain and engage with fans who are the force behind the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

"We believe a change in identity for the franchise was necessary to live and breathe this vision and celebrate the passion for cricket and playing bold," Churiwala said. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli responded: "LOGO ka kaam hai kehna. ? Thrilled to see our new @RCBTweets logo. It embodies the Bold pride and challenger spirit that our players bring to the field. Can’t wait for IPL 2020."
Royal Challengers Bangalore are yet to win the IPL since its inception in 2008. The franchise had removed the display pictures a few days ago. Also, RCB had changed the name to Royal Challengers. The same was done on its Instragram and Facebook accounts.

Virat Kohli was shocked after he came to know that the franchise removed its profile picture and posts from various social media accounts. He had also wrote a tweet: "Posts disappear and the captain isn't informed. @rcbtweets let me know if you need any help."
