Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) on Wednesday sent a legal notice to Amazon for using pictures of Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple) at toilet seat and door mat.

The members of the SGPC slammed Amazon for selling highly offensive products, including toilet seats and bath mats, that feature pictures of Sikh community holiest shrine, Golden Temple.
SGPC has also written to Union Minister of external affairs Sushma Swaraj seeking her intervention in this regard. SGPC also condemned Amazon for attempting to hurt the sentiments of the Sikh sangat and asked Amazon to tender an unconditional apology, otherwise SGPC will initiate further legal action against them.
