Tata Motors unveils sub-compact SUV Punch, bookings start
Tata Punch was officially unveiled on Monday. According to officials of Tata Motors, the latest sub-compact SUV will be launched on October 20. With the festive season already here, bookings for Tata Punch have been opened at ₹21,000. As per Tata Motors, deliveries will start immediately after launch. Unique highlights Tata Punch, sub-compact SUV, is being described as a capable car that is at ease within city limits and beyond. It has a water-wading capability of 370 mm, 90-degree door open angle, unladen ground clearance of almost 190 mm, automatic head lights and rain-sensing wipers and segment-first brake sway control. Transmission options include a five-speed manual as well as a five-speed automatic gearbox. Dual-tone interior theme Tata Punch will come equipped with a dual-tone interior theme, a seven-inch, Harman--sourced free-standing touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a seven-inch instrument cluster borrowed from the Altroz, a leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, cruise control, automatic climate control, steering-mounted controls, rectangular AC vents with contrast coloured accents, drive modes (City and Eco), engine start-stop button, height-adjustable driver seat, iRA technology, a cooled glove-box, second-row arm rest, automatic headlamps, and rain-sensing wipers.
