Amul comes out with doodle on Will-Chris slapgate
An unexpected incident took place at 94th Academy Oscars Awards which caught an eye and become internet sensation overnight. Social media ruled the incident with memes and jokes and at the same time dairy brand Amul too joined the list and shared a quirky doodle on the same.
The dramatic incident that occured after Will Smith, who won the best actor Oscar, took offence to Chris Rock's joke on his wife Jada Pinkett Smith and smacked Chris Rock to everyone’s shock. Will Smith even shouted at Chris and used abusive language in front of the audience.

The whole controversy became comedy and social media ruled out several memes and jokes on Smith-Chris Rock's slap drama. Today, Amul also shared a doodle of the slapgate incident in its own creative twist.
Amul shared the doddle on their official Instagram and Twitter account which featured doddle cartoon of Smith-Chris slap drama from the award night and captioned it as, “Chris Rocked by slap.” “Snack, don’t smack,” it added.
Meanwhile, taking to his Instagram handle, Will Smith issued a public apology to Chris Rock and wrote, "Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.”
"I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness," he added.
