Coronavirus: Punjab records 1,333 fresh infections, 71 deaths in 24 hours
Coronavirus Punjab Updates: The daily new cases of coronavirus in Punjab continue to remain below 1,500 as the state on Tuesday recorded 1,333 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the total number of cases to 5,84,785.
Jalandhar recorded 152 new cases while Fazilka reported 116, Amritsar 115, Ludhiana 113, Patiala 86, Bathinda 82, Ferozepur 68, Gurdaspur 66, Mansa 60, Hoshiarpur 59, Pathankot 54, Muktsar 51, and SAS Nagar 49.

Likewise, Kapurthala reported 48 new infections, Sangrur 44, Faridkot 40, Moga 30, Ropar 25, Tarn Taran 23, SBS Nagar 21, FG Sahib 16, and Barnala 15.

Meanwhile, Punjab recorded 71 Covid deaths across the state in 24 hours.
Among new deaths, Amritsar reported 6, Barnala 3, Bathinda 9, Faridkot 4, FG Sahib 2, Fazilka 2, Ferozepur 5, Gurdaspur 3, Hoshiarpur 2, Jalandhar 4, Kapurthala 1, Ludhiana 5, Mansa 1, Moga 3, SAS Nagar 4, Muktsar 6, Patiala 5, Sangrur 3, SBS Nagar 1, and Tarn Taran 2.
The total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 5,53,174 after 2,337 new recoveries were reported in 24 hours, the Health Department stated while giving coronavirus updates about Punjab.
Amritsar recorded 164 new recoveries, Barnala 29, Bathinda 215, Faridkot 76, Fazilka 208, Ferozpur 49, Fatehgarh Sahib 51, Gurdaspur 95, Hoshiarpur 119, Jalandhar 179, Kapurthala 80, Ludhiana 218, Mansa 115, Moga 70, Muktsar 138, Pathankot 110, Patiala 199, Ropar 30, Sangrur 48, SAS Nagar 96, SBS Nagar 20, and Tarn Taran 28.
