Lemon and Sugar Water
The old is gold, is a truth as the old remedy of mixing Lemon and Sugar water and applying it on your mehndi still prevails in modern generation which makes mehndi look darker.
How to do: Take a bowl of water , add some lemon juice and sugar, and stir it together. After that, take a cotton ball, soak it in the mixture, and lightly dab it on the mehndi once your mehndi is dry.

Cloves steam
Using cloves for darker mehndi color is also old age remedy which makes your mehndi long lasting.
Once you remove the mehndi, take 8-10 pieces of cloves and roast them on tawa or pan until smoke begins to form.
After that keep ur hand at a distance above the pan or tawa allowing your hands to come into contact with the smoke before removing it can darker the colour of it. Repeat this process at least four times to get a nice deep colour.

Apply balm or vicks
You might feel it strange that how can headache balm or vicks used for applying in cough can be used to darker the color of mehndi.
But this trick works really well.
