PTC News Desk: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu reiterated his intention to "firmly stay" with the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Wednesday, one day after the party's outstanding showing in Andhra Pradesh in the 2024 Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.

India Today TV was informed by sources that Naidu is expected to make his desire for the Speaker's position known during today's high-profile NDA meeting in Delhi.

They went on to say that while some feelers may have been given to the TDP head, no one from the Opposition INDIA group has spoken to Naidu yet.

Chandrababu Naidu told reporters at a news conference in Vijayawada prior to departing for the national capital, "I am experienced and I have seen several political changes in this country." We belong to the NDA, and I will be attending the Delhi NDA meeting."

"This is my first press conference after the election before I travel to Delhi. I am quite appreciative of the voters' support. In politics, ups and downs are typical. Throughout history, numerous political parties and leaders have been toppled. This election is historic. Even voters from overseas went back to their hometowns to cast ballots," he claimed.

In fact, he expressed gratitude to Pawan Kalyan, the leader of Jana Sena, the TDP and NDA's coalition partner in Andhra Pradesh, stating that the party "took the responsibility of saving" the state.

"I also appreciate that he assumed leadership of advancing the alliance. After that, the BJP joined us, and we all contributed to this win," Naidu stated.
