Coronavirus: India's Active cases constitute 1.39 percent of total cases
Coronavirus India Updates: India on Wednesday reported 38,792 new COVID-19 cases, 41,000 recoveries, and 624 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Health Ministry stated.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 cases in India has increased to 3,09,46,074 while the total recoveries have gone up to 3,01,04,720.

The active cases in the country have reached 4,29,946 while the death toll due to COVID-19 has increased to 4,11,408.

Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) stated that a total of 43,59,73,639 samples have been tested for COVID-19 up to July 13, 2021. Of these, 19,15,501 samples were tested on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, India’s cumulative vaccination coverage has exceeded 38.76 crores. A total of 38,76,97,935 vaccine doses have been administered through 49,10,876 sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am on Wednesday while 37,14,441 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
As per the coronavirus updates about India, 3,01,04,720 people have already recovered from COVID-19 and 41,000 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours.
This constitutes an overall recovery rate of 97.28 percent, which is showing a sustained increasing trend.
