New Delhi, October 28: The Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport, Delhi announced on Thursday that it has deployed 57 electric vehicles (EVs) for airside and landside operations as part of its objective of becoming a net zero-carbon emission airport by 2030. Airport officials estimate that switching to EV vehicles will save 1,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions per year.
