After Manish Sisodia's resignation, Kailash Gahlot, RK Anand to take up his depts
New Delhi, February 28: Following the resignation of Delhi Deputy Minister Manish Sisodia from the cabinet, the departments held by him will be given to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders Kailash Gahlot and Raaj Kumar Anand, said sources on Tuesday.
Some of Sisodia's departments will now be handled by Kailash Gahlot, while the rest will be handled by Raaj Kumar Anand. Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain, both Delhi ministers, resigned from their positions in the state cabinet on Tuesday.

Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister, accepted their resignation. Their resignations have now been forwarded to Delhi LG VK Saxena.
The news comes just two days after Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI in connection with the Delhi excise policy case.
Sisodia was arrested on Sunday as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged irregularities in the formulation and implementation of the Delhi government's excise policy.
