Snake venom case: Elvish Yadav gets notice, likely to be interrogated soon
PTC News Desk: Elvish Yadav, the Bigg Boss OTT winner and influencer who is being investigated for allegedly using snake venom at rave parties, has been served with a notice by Noida Police and is expected to be interrogated soon.
Five people have been arrested for allegedly supplying snakes and venom at parties, while the 26-year-old YouTuber has denied the charges.
Police stated that Yadav would be interrogated after taking Rahul Yadav, one of the arrested individuals, into custody, and that he may be confronted with Rahul and interrogated based on his statements.
Cops found evidence of similar rave parties in Delhi and Rajasthan. According to police, CCTV footage will be examined to determine where all such activities take place. A police team has been tasked with gathering more information on these individuals.
The five people were apprehended after an NGO set up a trap and contacted them posing as customers looking for cobras and pythons for a party. According to police sources, the snake venom found on them is being examined.
According to preliminary findings, the venom was mixed with another chemical and used at the party. A probe is now underway to determine whether the partygoers used it as a drug.
