Rakesh Tikait in Haryana: Amid farmers protest against farm laws 2020, the Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait on Thursday said that the Centre should not be under any misconception that farmers will go back for crop harvesting. "If they insisted, then we will burn our crops. They (Centre) shouldn't think that farmers' protest will end in 2 months. We'll harvest as well as protest," said Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait in Kharak Punia, Haryana. He further said that the Crops' prices were not increased, but the fuel prices have gone up. "If the Centre ruins the situation, we'll take our tractors to West Bengal as well," he said, adding that the farmers are not getting MSP there also. Farmers in huge number have been protesting the Delhi borders against the farm laws 2020. While there are speculations that the farmers' protest has started weakening but several farmer leaders have asserted that the protest is not going to end anytime soon. Even as the farmers are getting prepared for the summer heat as they are planning to install fans and coolers at the protest site. It may be recalled that a total of 11 round of talks took place between the Centre and the farmers' union but all of them remained inconclusive.
