Drone movement in Ambala Cantt area; security agency on alert

Ambala, August 16: After drone movement was reported at the Indian Air Force (IAF) station in Ambala, security agencies were put on high alert. Following the incident, the agencies conducted a search operation in the surrounding area. Furthermore, the Air Force and Ambala Police have increased patrolling in the area. A case has been registered on the complaint of Wing Commander Station Security Officer PP Srivastava. ASP Pooja Dabla stated that flying drones within a three-kilometre radius is prohibited, but on August 15 and 13, a drone was seen flying near the Air Force station. According to Pooja Dabla, a case has been filed based on the complaint, and an investigation is underway to determine where did this drone come from.
