While the total number of active cases in Punjab has crossed 2000-mark, Jalandhar reported 32 new cases of coronavirus on Thursday. According to the information, the new cases include Shahkot SDM Sanjeev Kumar and a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Punjab Police. Earlier, a 54-year-old man died due to coronavirus pandemic. He was a resident of Sultanpur Lodhi. He was admitted to the civil hospital in Jalandhar. On Wednesday, Mohali SDM was tested positive for coronavirus. Mohali reported 6 new cases of coronavirus on Thursday taking the total number of cases in the district to 337.
