Which are Punjab districts that have reported new COVID fatalities?
The death toll in Punjab has increased to 181 after three new deaths were reported from the state on Thursday. According to the information, one new death has been reported from Fatehgarh Sahib, Sultanpur Lodhi (Jalandhar), and Malerkotla (Sangrur).
A 56-year-old woman, a resident of Fatehgarh Sahib, had succumbed to the pandemic. She was admitted to a hospital in Sector 32. It was the second death due to coronavirus in the district.
In Sultanpur Lodhi, a 54-year-old boy died due to coronavirus. The SMO of civil hospital Anil Manchanda shared the information. He was admitted to the civil hospital in Jalandhar.
Apart from these deaths, Punjab has reported new cases as well. Patiala reported 45 new cases of coronavirus while 6 new cases have been reported from Ferozepur and Malerkotla each. The 6 new cases from Malerkotla are all police officials while 8 cases from Ferozepur are all BSF jawans.

Similarly, 2 new cases have been reported from Fatehgarh Sahib and 7 from Bathinda. The total number of coronavirus active cases in the state has crossed 2000-mark while the total number of cases has crossed 7000-mark.
