AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal dedicates 400 Mohalla clinics to residents of Punjab
Amritsar, January 27: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday dedicated 400 Mohalla clinics to residents of Punjab. In the second phase, 400 Mohalla Clinics were inaugurated by the AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
Taking to the twitter Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said, “People's money in people's name! Today 400 more Aam Aadmi Clinics are going to open in Punjab... Now total 500 Aam Aadmi Clinics will be dedicated to serve the people.. Where people will get free and good treatment... We do what we say”.
Before the elections, party chief Arvind Kejriwal had given a guarantee to the people of Punjab that Mohalla Clinics would be set up in Punjab if they were voted to power. Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh said that so far more than ten lakh people have availed the benefits of Aam Aadmi Clinics and more than three lakh people have been screened free of cost during treatment. Apart from this, medicines were also given free of cost to the people.
Dr. Balbir said that the first priority of the AAP government is to free the common people from the tension of education and medicine. When the children of common people will get free good education, free treatment, free medicines and free health checkup, then they will automatically save a lot of money.
