Coronavirus: India reports 39,796 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours
Coronavirus India Updates: As India reported 39,796 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the active caseload has declined to 4,82,071, the Health Ministry stated on Monday.
According to the coronavirus updates, India reported 39,796 new COVID-19 cases, 42,352 recoveries, and 723 deaths in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the total number of coronavirus cases has increased to 3,05,85,229 while the recoveries have gone up to 2,97,00,430.
The active cases in the country have reached 4,82,071 and the death toll stands at 4,02,728. As of now, a total of 35,28,92,046 people in the country have been administered COVID-19 vaccines.

Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) stated that a total of 41,97,77,457 samples have been tested for COVID-19 up to July 4, 2021. Of these, 15,22,504 samples were tested on Sunday.
The daily COVID-19 recoveries in India continue to outnumber the daily new cases for the 53rd consecutive day.
With this, the recovery rate in the nation has increased to 97.11 percent while the weekly positivity rate remained below 5 percent which is currently at 2.40 percent.
Likewise, the daily positivity rate currently stands at 2.61 percent which is less than 5 percent for 28 consecutive days.
