Kohli, Sehwag and Tendulkar are having six double hundreds each, while Dravid is having 5. Likewise, Gavaskar (4) and Pujara (3) are behind them. Also, Agarwal has become the second Indian after Virender Sehwag to smash a double hundred against Proteas.
Mayank’s phenomenal double ton became India’s 52nd double-hundred plus score in Test cricket. The Karnataka batsman built up the partnership of 317 runs with Rohit Sharma, who scored 176 runs and got departed on Day 2. At the time of publishing this report, India is 450 for 5.
