Fatehgarh Sahib: Huge gathering at Deep Sidhu's bhog ceremony
Fatehgarh Sahib, February 24: People from all walks of life on Thursday gathered here in large numbers to pay last respects to actor Deep Sidhu, who died in a road accident on the KMP Expressway last week.
The bhog ceremony was organised at Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib, Sirhind. On this occasion, a blood donation camp was also organised.

A large number of Panthic leaders also attended the bhog ceremony of the late actor Deep Sidhu. Youths and farmers from various cities and villages rode their vehicles carrying saffron flags towards Fatehgarh Sahib. According to the route plan of the "saffron march", the march started from Amritsar and reached Fatehgarh Sahib.
According to information, Deepu Sidhu's bhog ceremony was attended by the members of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and Khalsa Aid. A large number of people gathered on this occasion. Millions of Deep Sidhu's fans, farmers, and workers of various organizations attended the mourning ceremony.
It may be recalled that actor Deep Sidhu, who came into the limelight during the farmers' protest, was killed in a road accident on the KMP expressway on February 15 while returning to Punjab from Delhi. Sonipat police confirmed the death of Deep Sidhu in the accident and informed the family.
He was later cremated at Tharike village in Ludhiana during which a large number of people participated and expressed deep sorrow.
