Prakash Singh Badal expressed deep sorrow Former Punjab chief minister Sardar Prakash Singh Badal and SAD president Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal today expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Rajmata Mohinder Kaur, mother of Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh. Both Mr Badal and Mr Sukhbir Singh personally and separately conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the chief minister over his irreparable loss. Mr Badal, who will be in Delhi for the swearing in of Shri RN Kovind as President of India, will reach Patiala tomorrow to personally attend the cremation. "I fully realise what a tough moment it is for the entire family but especially for you as the passing away of one's mother leaves an unfulfillable vacuum in ones life," said Mr Badal while conveying his condolences to the CM. The SAD president and former deputy Chief Minister Mr Sukhbir Singh also said spoke to Captain Singh and said," He fully shared Captain Singh grief and sorrow in this difficult moment and said," I pray to the almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to you and other members of your family to bear this loss" —PTC News
