CBSE Class 12 Results 2021 evaluation criteria: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday submitted before the Supreme Court its evaluation criteria for awarding grades and marks for Class 12 exams. Giving details about evaluation criteria, CBSE informed the Supreme Court that the Class 12 results 2021 would be decided on the basis of performance in Class 10 (30 percent weightage), Class 11 (30 percent weightage), and Class 12 (40 percent weightage).

For Class 12, marks obtained in the unit, term, and practicals would be taken into account. It may be recalled that the CBSE had canceled the Class 12 board exams 2021 in view of the coronavirus pandemic. It was decided after the meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Several opposition leaders had urged the Centre to cancel the exams keeping in mind the health of children. However, the Punjab government is yet to decide on the conduct of Class 12 board exams 2021. -PTC News-
