Coronavirus: India reports highest single-day spike of nearly 70,000 cases

Coronavirus India Cases Today: India reported the highest single-day spike of 69,652 coronavirus cases and 977 deaths in the last 24 hours, as of Thursday morning. A total of 58,794 COVID patients were declared cured and discharged in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has increased to 28,36,926 out of which 6,86,395 are active cases, 20,96,665 have been cured and discharged while 53,866 COVID patients died due to the pandemic, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said. Maharashtra is the worst-affected state with a COVID tally of 6,28,642 cases out of which 4,46,881 COVID patients have been recovered, 1,60,728 are active cases while 21,033 died due to pandemic. Likewise, Tamil Nadu is the second worst-affected state with 53,155 active cases, 2,96,171 recovered and 6123 deaths. Coronavirus Haryana | Corona Cases in Haryana | Hindi News Andhra Pradesh is on the third spot with a total number of cases at 3,16,003 out of which 86,725 are active cases while 2,26,372 have been recovered and 2906 died due to the pandemic.
