Jammu and Kashmir : 23 killed, several injured as bus falls into gorge
At least 11 passengers died and several others were injured in a road accident in Mandi tehsil of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
The accident took place when a passenger bus , which was heading from Loran to Poonch skid off the road and fell into a deep gorge in Poonch.
According to a Official, the bodies of all those killed in the accident have been recovered. Rescue and search operation is underway, while the injured passengers have been rushed to a civil hospital in Mandi for treatment.
